The Hierarchy of Scale

Town. Bunch. Bouquet.

URBAL is not a single development. It is a replicable system — a fractal of planned towns that assembles into cities, bunches, and bouquets. Each level of the hierarchy is self-sufficient. Each level amplifies the one below it.

Town

1 sq mile

~25,000

Residents

~10,000

Dwelling Units

One square mile, car-free, entirely natural stone. Inner 3×3 URB grid, outer wall ring, inner wall clinic ring, linear gardens between. The fundamental unit of URBAL.

URBAL City

1 sq mile

~36,000

Residents

~15,000

Dwelling Units

Denser than a town. Four Evelyn Rose URBs, 28 courtyard apartment URBs, no single-family homes. A 1,600 × 1,600 ft Central Park at its core. The civic and intellectual center of each Bunch.

Bunch

9 sq miles

~211,000

Residents

~85,000

Dwelling Units

7 Towns + 1 City + 1 Green Park in a 3×3 mile grid. Underground datacenter runs beneath the green park perimeter. One full annual raise cycle builds one complete Bunch.

Bouquet

36 sq miles

~844,000

Residents

~340,000

Dwelling Units

4 Bunches — exactly one Congressional Township. 28 towns, 4 cities, 4 green parks, 1 small modular reactor at geographic center. The maximum self-sufficient unit.

URBAL City

The Civic Center

Every Bunch has one URBAL City — denser, taller, and more urban than its seven surrounding towns. It houses the flagship URBAL University college, the broadest concentration of professional services, and the Bunch's primary commercial district.

Outer wall modules 80 × 40 ft (5 stories, depth halved vs town)
Evelyn Rose URBs 4 total (vs 1 in a town)
Courtyard URBs 28 total (vs 8 in a town)
Central Park 1,600 × 1,600 ft at the city's core
No SFH No Wild Flower Garden URBs — all apartments and Evelyn Rose

The April Raise

Every annual Bunch build cycle closes with the URBAL City raise in April — the eighth and final $5B raise of the year. The city raise completes the human settlement layer before the four infrastructure raises (May–August) build out power, healthcare, data, and transport.

URBAL University flagship

The URBAL City hosts the Bunch's lead university college. Every town has its own independent college, but the city college is the academic and research hub — larger endowment, more faculty, deeper research programs.

Terreno Mente — Underground Infrastructure

844,800 sqft Underground. Per Bunch.

Beneath the green park perimeter of each Bunch runs a continuous underground datacenter — one story below grade, along two full sides of the park. Built in July of the infrastructure raise year.

AI Inference Cloud 40% 338,000 sqft
AI Training Cloud 20% 169,000 sqft

Vertical + ISV + MSP 10% 84,000 sqft

Terreno Energia — Power Infrastructure

One SMR. Powers Everything.

At the geographic center of the Bouquet — the center of four Bunches — sits a Rolls-Royce small modular reactor on a 675 × 675 ft footprint. It powers all 8 towns, 4 cities, 4 green parks, and all datacenter infrastructure within the Bouquet.
