About URBAL
We build
towns.
Because the alternative is getting worse.

The name
URBan towns on ruRAL land.
Urban and rural, pressed together — dense, walkable, complete towns, built on land that stays working land around them.
These towns are built to settle what modern life has left frayed — the built environment, healthcare, education, food. The vocabulary follows the same idea, all the way up. And a Blend really is a blend — of the preferences pledged to it.
URB
The neighborhood. 29 to a Blend.
Blend
The town or city. One square mile.
Bunch
Seven towns, one city, one park.
Bouquet
Four bunches. 36 square miles.
Rewards crowdfunding
Stewards pledge monthly. Raise closes at $5B. Construction begins. Move-In Day.
Greenfield exit
Built on new land outside existing systems. Not a reform. A departure.
Stone construction
CNC-fabricated limestone in pure compression. 500-year design life.
County partnership
51% county economic ownership. $100M for public school children.
No VC funding
The raise funds construction. Stewards fund the town. No outside capital.
Car-free by design
No road grid. The infrastructure makes the car structurally impossible.
Remove the car. The cascade reverses.
Force a car on every household and you lock in isolation, extraction, and atomization. No road. No cascade.
25 million compete. Profile decides.
Stewards pledge $100–$300/month until the raise closes at $5B. Profile, not wealth, determines selection.
The mission
We don't reform the system. We build outside it.
The American housing, healthcare, and transportation systems are structurally broken — not by accident, but by design. Car dependency was engineered. Zoning exclusivity was legislated. Fee-for-service healthcare was incentivized. Every reform path leads through the captured governance structures that produced the problem. URBAL doesn't enter that loop at any step.
A URBAL town is a complete alternative — stone construction that doesn't speculate, direct primary care that eliminates the insurer, car-free mobility that eliminates the $12,000/year vehicle cost, and governance that makes democratic accountability local, binding, and permanent. This is an exit strategy, not a reform strategy.
One monthly fee
All-in — housing, healthcare, energy, education, Tea Leaves, Samara Air. Locked at signing.
900,000 target
Full Bouquet Garni buildout — 4 Bunches, 28 towns, 4 cities, one county.
51% county stake
Economic majority to the county. URBAL builds the system. County earns.
Sustainable stone
CNC-machined limestone. No concrete, no steel frame — precision tongue-and-groove, designed to outlast the anxiety.
