About URBAL

We build
towns.

Because the alternative is getting worse.

Rewards crowdfunding

Stewards pledge monthly. Raise closes at $5B. Construction begins. Key Day.

Greenfield exit

Built on new land outside existing systems. Not a reform. A departure.

Stone construction

CNC-fabricated limestone. Steve Webb Engineering. 500-year design life.

County partnership

51% county economic ownership. $100M for public school children.

No VC funding

The raise funds construction. Stewards fund the town. No outside capital.

Car-free by design

No road grid. The infrastructure makes the car structurally impossible.

The thesis

Remove the car. The cascade of crises reverses with it.

Force a car on every household and you lock in isolation, extraction, and atomization. No road. No cascade.

The platform

25 million compete. 10,000 homes. Profile decides.

Stewards pledge $100–$325/month until the raise closes at $5B. Profile, not wealth, determines selection.

The mission

We don't reform the system. We build outside it.

The American housing, healthcare, and transportation systems are structurally broken — not by accident, but by design. Car dependency was engineered. Zoning exclusivity was legislated. Fee-for-service healthcare was incentivized. Every reform path leads through the captured governance structures that produced the problem. URBAL doesn't enter that loop at any step.

A URBAL town is a complete alternative — stone construction that doesn't speculate, direct primary care that eliminates the insurer, car-free mobility that eliminates the $12,000/year vehicle cost, and governance that makes democratic accountability local, binding, and permanent. This is an exit strategy, not a reform strategy.

$1,218/month
